How it All Started

Inspired by Casey Neistat, Farhan started vlogging on August 9th 2018 in search for a new hobby.

It was only later on when it got more motorcycle-centric. It started when Zar wanted to get a new motorbike, his Honda Tourism. Farhan, in search of content for the channel, tagged along to basically document the journey. It wasn't a review, nor was it informative. It was just two guys who were sharing the joy of getting a motorcycle. The views picked up. Realizing that there's a void to be filled in the Singapore motorvlogging scene, Farhan & Zar reviewed their own bikes, before going out of their way and contacted friends to review their bikes. Slowly, viewers and fans alike contacted them to showcase their bikes.

From there, as they say... The rest is history...

Our Content Niche

Producing Motorcycle Related Content for the Average Rider

Targeted towards new & novice motorcycle riders, our approach to producing videos is a casual, relatable, and community based. We don't dwell into the the science, math & specifications, but rather relay it in a way on how a typical rider would. We concentrate more on user experience, the pros & cons of the machine, typical problems that is inherente to the machine, ect. As fellow riders, we believe that all riders can learn from each other to avoid such mishaps & mistakes. We provide the platform for all.

With a camera on hand, we document all our rides & travels from start to finish in an episodic TV style format for your entertainment. Get Inspired by Fellow Bikers

More than just a machine on two-wheels, fellow riders have stories on anything & everything on their motorbikes. Hence, with the targeted audience already on board, it only makes sense to provide the platform for riders to share their stories. We've had lady riders, overlanders, biker celebrities, and even those involved in the motorcycle scene sit down and talk with us. Thru this, we hope to inspire other riders to have similar experiences.

Motorcycle Reviews

Casual, Simple & User Experience

Inspired by car reviewers Doug Demuro & Regular Car Reviews, our motorcycle reviews have always had the casual rider in mind. Focusing on user experience, the shortcomings & quirks. We also at times, get owners to share their experience with their machines. As an owner themselves, only they would know the bike better. So, surely they can speak on the bike.

Engagement with Fans & Followers

Community Based & Down to Earth

The Tambak Overlanders crew acknowledge that our fans & followers are the driving force in our endeavors. Thus, as much as we can, we try to engage & befriend them. Thru livestreams, replying to comments and DMs to even casually chatting with our followers on the streets & events such as the National Bikers' Weekend & our convoy rides. We strive to be there for our fans & followers as they have been the main pillar of support for us.
